2SCALE is an incubator program that manages a portfolio of public-private partnerships (PPPs) for inclusive business in agri-food sectors and industries. 2SCALE Crowdfunding started as an immediate response to the COVID-19 financial stress and grows into an Access to Finance (A2F) service offer together with Crosswise Works and GoodUp. Crosswise Works supports 2SCALE with crowdfunding expertise and program management.

2SCALE provides the opportunity for their partnered (M)SME’S to solve their most pressing cash flow issues that were caused as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It also provides the opportunity for agri-(M)SME’s to find investment capital as they scale up their activities on the ground. Crowdfunding success is not created solely through the creation of a technical platform, and so Crosswise Works, together with their long-term partners on the ground who have been trained over the years to become local crowdfunding experts, support 2SCALE by providing a variety of crowdfunding support services.
We are working closely with the 2SCALE local teams in Mali, Nigeria, Kenya and our local crowdfunding experts in those countries. GoodUp is the technology provider that facilitates local payment service providers for easy donations.
