Food Connection Challenge is back: Nigeria & Benin!
With support from the Dutch Ministries of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality & Foreign Affairs, BoP Inc and Crosswise Works are proud to present two new editions of the Food Connection Challenge. The goal of the Food Connection Challenge is to incubate and accelerate innovative business concepts from local SMEs on the reduction of post-harvest food losses.
This time we’ll call upon agribusiness SMEs in Nigeria and Benin to submit their innovative ideas. After a competitive selection process, selected SMEs will benefit from workshops, training sessions, innovation jams and remote coaching to reflect on, reformulate and validate their innovative ideas and turn it into a plan that is ready to be implemented with a sound business case. These plans will be pitched at a final event, and the selected winners will receive matching funding from the Postharvest Network to realize winning proposals, up to a maximum of €20,000.
