Training the biggest waste management organisation of Freetown, Sierra Leone

Dutch company The Waste Transformers is planning to place 50 AD units (Anaerobic Digestion containers) in Freetown, together with Masada, the biggest local waste collector. These AD units create biogas and fertiliser out of organic waste. Crosswise Works supports their cooperation by providing trainings for Masada staff and young waste collectors in entrepreneurial skills, so that working with the AD units will result in profit and thus jobs.

The trainings are sponsored by the Orange Knowledge Programme of Nuffic.
